Has a BSc (Hons) in Physics from the University of Southampton.

"I've always had a camera, starting with a disposable film camera when I was 8 years old. Since then I have worked my way through one film and two digital compact cameras. I played with my father's Leica SLR whilst I was at university, and my love of photography increased from there.

Currently I own a Canon 400D dSLR and still borrow & play with the Leica SLR. I also own a Canon Powershot A710 IS, which goes everywhere with me.

In 2008, I set myself the challenge of taking a photograph every day of the year. Just doing this has helped me to develop my photographic skills further. I take photos of most subjects, but particularly enjoy taking photos of people."
